Welcome to the School of Education and Professional Studies (SOE&PS), offering nationally accredited programs in business administration, community health, information and communication technology, and teacher education.

The State University of New York College (SUNY) at Potsdam is justly proud of all of its programs. However, it is appropriate to highlight the fact that teacher education at Potsdam traces its history back to the College's foundation as St. Lawrence Academy established in 1816, thus making SUNY Potsdam's teacher-education programs the oldest in the SUNY system.
