    SUNY Potsdam is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104.  ((267) 284-5000).  The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

  • Catalog Process 
    The college catalog is revised every two years under the supervision of the Assistant Provost, Office of Academic Affairs, and the Office of Public Affairs.  Campus departments and units are informed of specific submission dates to submit the revised copy early in the fall term.  Inquiries regarding the college catalog should be directed to the Gerald Ratliff, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs.

  • Honors Convocation
    The Honors Convocation is an annual campus event hosted in the spring that recognizes distinguished graduating seniors who have achieved academic and service awards at the school and college level.  The formal recognition ceremony includes endowed and memorial awards, as well as, individual student recognition in select academic, professional, and service roles of meritorious distinction.
  • New Program Review
    Policies and procedures related to academic program revisions or proposals for new programs are initially coordinated through the three schools in the College and submitted to the Faculty Senate for final review and approval as appropriate.  Proposals that require approval by SUNY System Administration are coordinated by the Assistant Provost, Office of Academic Affairs.  For additional information, please contact Gerald Ratliff, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs.
