Dig It

Students in archaeology class have done many field digs. This dig was the first of two directed by Professor Steven Marqusee in nearby Burke, NY. This farm is the actual location and original house of Almanzo Wilder's childhood as depicted in his wife's well known historical fiction novel, "Farmer Boy."
