The Economics and Employment Relations Department offers several research opportunities for students.
- Economics and Business Economics students at SUNY Potsdam have the opportunity to pursue independent research with economics faculty members.
- They may also pursue summer research on campus.
- The department offers research courses on a regular basis every year. Students are encouraged to take these research courses where they get an opportunity to work with individual faculty members on research projects.
- Our students have pursed research interests that include computational and statistical studies, experiential and behavioral studies and policy and impact studies.
- In recent years economics students have made research presentations at regional meetings and published their work in The American Economist.
