M.A. English and Communication
The Master of Arts in English and Communication is an advanced, interdisciplinary program of study focusing on human symbolic systems and interactions. Students investigate the relationships among signs, symbolic systems, and the cultural contexts of text, images, and other media.
Working closely with faculty, each student designs and completes an individual culminating thesis project that crosses traditional disciplinary boundaries.
The MA in English and Communication is for students pursuing various educational, intellectual, and career goals. The program welcomes part-time students, and most classes are scheduled in the evening to accommodate those with daytime employment.
