The physics minor is designed to develop competence in fundamental areas of classical and modern physics. Courses start with Newtonian physics, and introduce quantum ideas and Einstein?s relativity later. Scientific experimentation in the laboratory complements the theoreticalprinciples in lecture presentations. Problem solving and computational skills are emphasized.

All courses are 3 credits unless noted. Credits are divided as follows:
