Process
- Obtain a Course Audit Application Form - available online or from the Office of Extended Education
- Obtain written permission from the course instructor
- Obtain written permission from the department chair
- Submit the completed form to the Office of Extended Education on or after the first day of classes
Terms and Conditions
- Courses are on a space available basis
- May not sign up to audit a course before the first day of class
- Permission may be revoked if a formally registered student wishes to enroll in the course
- Auditors will not be enrolled in the course and will not be listed on the class roster
- Auditors do not earn academic credit or any formal recognition
- Auditors are not required to meet the requirements of the course
- Instructor is not obligated to evaluate the auditor's work in any way
- Auditors are subject to all appropriate guidelines and the student code of conduct
High School Students
- Must be a junior or a senior
- Have written permission from their principal or guidance counselor
- Follow the process listed above
