SUNY Potsdam's School of Education and Professional Studies together with the Office of Extended Education are committed to making both graduate and undergraduate degree programs accessible to the residents of Jefferson and Lewis Counties. Jefferson Community College hosts the largest number of our courses on its campus, although other sites in the Watertown area including Sherman Elementary, North Elementary and Watertown High Schools are also frequently utilized.

Convenient Times for Adult Learners
Courses for these degree programs are offered in the early evening and on weekends to accommodate the needs of adults who have work, family or other responsibilities during the weekday.
Guaranteed Course Offerings
Multi-year schedule templates are available which indicate which courses will be offered in what semester for each of these programs so that students are able to complete their degree on a timely basis.
Schedule Planning Tips
Based upon student demand, additional courses that are not shown on the schedule templates, are often scheduled. Please refer to the complete schedule of courses for each semester as well as the summer session, which is available approximately two months prior to the start of that semester or session. It is important to note that there will be some courses required to complete each of the degrees for which the student is expected to come to the Potsdam campus. The number of courses is minimal and will be scheduled to limit the number of actual trips that students will need to take to Potsdam.
