Last day to drop a class - Wednesday, January 8
Last day to withdraw from a class or elect S/U for a class - Friday, January 10
Drop a class on January 3 or 4 - 0% liability
Drop a class on January 7 or 8 - 80% liability
After January 11 - 1000% liability

Drop a class on December 28 - 31 - 65% liability
After January 1 - 100% liability
How to Drop a Winterim 2014 Course
Please note the holiday hours for the office of Extended Education and plan accordingly! If the office is not open on the day that you would like to drop your course, please email us at email@example.com. Courses will be dropped effective the date of your email.

Matriculated SUNY Potsdam students may Web Drop their courses through their BearPAWS account through December 6, 2013. After this date, web registration will be turned off.
All course drop requests are required to be in writing. If you are not able to web-drop, you can request that the Office of Extended Education drop the course for you. You may do this in the following ways:
- Send us an Email – Email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name, Potsdam ID number (P#), and the name and CRN of the course you wish to drop.
- In person – Come in to the Office of Extended Education. We are temporarily located on the 5th floor of Raymond Hall. You can complete an Add/Drop form and we will remove the course from your schedule.
- By USPS – Send us a letter! Include your name, Potsdam ID number (P#), and the name and CRN of the course you wish to drop.
