Literacy Success for Students (Grades 3 - 8)
A professional development course offered at the Literacy Center.
Mission: To assist educators with research-based lessons in order to impact students’ development of strong reading comprehension skills. It has been designed for practicing educators and SUNY Potsdam education majors.
Collaborative Partners: the Adirondack Teachers’ Center, the St. Lawrence Valley Teachers’ Learning Center, and the Teacher/Leader Quality Partnerships Program (TLQP).
Program Components:
- Individual workshops are created and instructed by local literacy educators in St. Lawrence County.
- Enhance instruction with practical techniques and adapting strategies to individual teaching styles.
