Jalel Akaichi M.S., Computer Science, National Institute of Applied Science, France Ph.D., Computer Science, University of Sciences and Technology, Lille, France
Jalel Akaichi is the head of the Computer Science Department and Assistant Professor at the Institut Supérieur de Gestion de Tunis. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of operating systems, distributed systems, databases, programming languages, information and software systems. In particular, he is currently working on projects concerning large-scale data warehousing over dynamic and distributed information sources, middleware services, middlelayer transformation and information integration technology, and database change management. In 1998, Jalel was a visiting Assistant Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Boston, and he still works closely with them. He has given presentations at the University of Massachusetts, Southern Illinois University, and Rio Grande University, and is active in international projects, such as with the National Institute of Applied Science in France. Jalel consults for public and private Tunisian companies, and also serves as a regionally elected town official for Hammam Chatt. In his free time, he enjoys soccer, traveling, music, the outdoors, and meeting people from all over the world.

Anis Allagui is pursuing a Ph.D. at Nantes University in France. He is teaching Marketing Management at ISG and conducting several research projects for the Marketing research unit at the same institution. His current research interests lie in the fields of e-commerce and consumer behavior on the Internet. Prior to teaching at ISG, Anis worked for an international finance company. He particularly enjoys traveling, meeting new people and playing tennis. He also likes blues music and playing acoustic guitar.
Imene Chakroun M.S., Management, Institut Supérieur de Gestion de Tunis (ISG)
Currently working towards a Ph.D at ISG, Imene Chakroun taught at the Ecole Nationale des Ingénieurs de Tunis before joining the Human Resources Department at ISG, where she teaches strategic management. Her research and publication interests lie in the areas of technology management, corporate culture, individual wage practices in Tunisian companies, and the implications of theories for management of human resources. Imene’s professional ambitions include learning about new teaching methods and completing her doctoral research. Outside of academia, she enjoys going to the sea every week with friends, reading, and creating handicrafts, such as embroidery and glass-painting.

Mohamed Lachaab is Assistant Professor of Quantitative Methods at ISG. His research interests include quantitative marketing and development, and the application of discrete choice methods. He enjoys swimming, travel and people.
Nizar Mansour M.A., Human Resource Management, Institut Superieur de Gestion de Tunis (ISG)
Nizar Mansour is currently working towards a Ph.D. and teaching Human Resources at the same institution. Before joining ISG, he spent one year as a Junior Consultant in the HR field. His current areas of interest in research include strategic human resource management, organizational motivation and commitment, knowledge work and knowledge management. In his doctoral research, Nizar is seeking to develop an integrative model of HRM, human capital and knowledge management in knowledge intensive firms. He moved to Tunis in 1996 from Sousse, his native, coastal city. In his free time, Nizar enjoys playing football and cooking. He is also a film fan.
Faouzi Najar Ph.D., Management (Marketing), University of Paris, France M.B.A., Marketing, University of Paris-Dauphine, France M.S., Marketing, Institut Superieur de Gestion de Tunis
Since 1992, Faouzi Najar has been teaching classes to MBA’s and undergraduates in strategic marketing, product and innovation management, and international marketing. For ten years, he has also been a member of the Circle Doctoral Francophone de Gestion (CDFG) in France, which unites professors and researchers in Marketing and Management from France and Switzerland. Since 1998, he has been the chairman of the Marketing and International Trade Department at ISG. Faouzi enjoys working with computers, traveling and watching soccer and basketball.
Lotfi Mouelhi B.A., English Language & Literature, Faculty of Arts, Tunis
Lotfi Mouelhi started his career as a high school teacher, then moving on to the National Aviation School where he taught English for Specific Purposes (aeronautical English) to student pilots, air traffic controllers and aircraft mechanics. Since joining the ISG faculty, he has specialized in teaching English for computer science, accounting, finance and management. Lotfi co-authored a textbook for business English along with the other ISG colleagues and the American Cultural Center. He has translated ‘The Code of Investment in the Tourist Trade in Tunisia’ and a book entitled ‘Globalisation and The Arab World.’ Lotfi is particularly interested in computer assisted language learning for business English. His main hobbies are reading, swimming, social gatherings and exchanging ideas.
Mourad Touzani Ph.D., Marketing, IAE Aix-en-Provence, France M.B.A., Management, IAE Aix-en-Provence, France
Mourad Touzani's areas of teaching and research are Marketing, Marketing Research, Research Methodology, Direct Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and Culture and Marketing. Prior to teaching at the Institut Supérieur de Gestion, he taught and conducted research in marketing and consumer behavior at the University of Aix-Marseille, France. In his free time, Mourad enjoys hiking, cooking and working with computers.
