Commencement

UPDATE for Bachelor's Commencement Ceremony Location:

  • The Bachelor’s Commencement Ceremony will be held outdoors in the Academic Quad as scheduled.
  • If there is a drastic change in the weather that requires the ceremony to be moved inside, a campus-wide e-mail will be sent to faculty, staff and students.
  • The information will also be posted on this page.
  • The weather for Sunday is expected to be cool and breezy; graduates and guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for an outside ceremony.

Master's Commencement 2009

The 2009 Master's Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 16, at 10 a.m. in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall. Students should arrive for lineup in Bishop Hall rooms C107 and C101 by 9:30 a.m. Faculty should lineup in room C119.

  • Due to space constraints, four guests per student will be admitted to Hosmer Hall.
  • Tickets are required for entrance and are available at The College Store when students pick up their caps and gowns.
  • Additional guests will be seated in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater to watch the ceremony on a 15-foot projection screen.


Bachelor's Commencement 2009

The 2009 Bachelor’s Commencement Ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 17, at 10 a.m. in the Academic Quad. Students and faculty should arrive for lineup by 9:30 a.m. on the Merritt Hall side of the Crumb Library.

  • If the weather is forecasted to be poor, the ceremony will be moved to the Maxcy Hall Gymnasium.
  • Due to space constraints, only four guests per student will be admitted to the gym.
  • Tickets are required for entrance and are available at The College Store when students pick up their caps and gowns.
  • Additional guests will be seated in the ice arena to watch the ceremony on a 15-foot projection screen.

 

Commencement Dates for the 2008-2009 Academic Year:

Master's Commencement Ceremony-Saturday, May 16th, at 10 a.m., Hosmer Hall.

Bachelor's Commencement Ceremony- Sunday, May 17th, at 10 a.m., Academic Quad.
