Participation in the process of the creative or performing arts presented in the context of the art form. This mode is to be completed in a department different from the one that satisfies the AC requirement.

Limitations:

• Minimum of 3 Credits
• Many AE designated courses are 1 or 2 credits, thus more than one course will need to be taken.
• When taking courses to satisfy AE and AC, there must be two different departments represented. In other words, you can't take two courses from the art department, one with an AE designation and one with an AC designation, and have them fulfill the Aesthetic Understanding component of your requirements.
