The CCA is used for all campus services including Potsdam email, BearPAWS, logging onto campus computers, on-campus and residential Wi-Fi access, Blackboard, publishing web pages and proxy access to campus restricted web sites. The same username and password is used for all of these services.
The student username is the first six (6) letters of the last name, followed by the first letter of the first name, the first letter of the middle name followed by three (3) digits. You will receive your CCA activation information with your assigned username via email with instructions on how to activate your CCA.
Once you have completed this process, your username and new password can be used to login to all SUNY Potsdam campus computing services (including BearPAWS and email).

This number (also known on campus as Potsdam ID or P number) is used on campus for identification purposes instead of a U.S. Social Security Number. Please memorize your Potsdam ID number and do not share it with anyone.
