Vincent Cavotto & Derek Down
Vincent Cavotto and Derek Down are Music Business majors at SUNY Potsdam. Vincent is from Grand Island, NY and Derek is from Wallkill, NY.
In January, Vincent and Derek presented the findings of their research project titled "Exploring New Methods in Opera Education" at both the 2010 Learning and Research Fair at SUNY Potsdam and more recently at the 2011 National Opera Association Conference in San Antonio, TX. This project explored the ways in which introduction to opera affected student responses to live opera performance.
In the future, both hope to work in the field of Arts Administration.
