*AHR = Advanced Honors Requirement

*GHR = General Honors Requirement

  • INTD 195 Library Research Skills.  Working with Associate Librarian Nancy Alzo you will receive training in information literacy skills, and then put those skills to use as a peer reference aide.  Open to as few as 6, and as many as 10 students.   Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please e-mail instructor.
  • INTD 195 Service Learning.  Toby White, Director of Experiential Education, is willing to offer a number of one-credit-hour service learning internships. Open to an as-yet undetermined number of students.  Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please e-mail instructor.
  • INTD 195 Library Social Media Intern.  Working with User Services Librarian Elizabeth Andrews (andrewec@potsdam.edu), single intern needed to work on updating current outlets (Facebook, Twitter) and explore which newer outlets should be pursued.  Academic portion to focus around readings on social media marketing and advocacy, library marketing best practices, etc.

If you plan to take a single-seat honors course, you must consult with the professor who will propose the course.  It is preferable that you line up your professor and complete the paperwork before you return in the spring; the final deadline for filing single-seat honors course paperwork will be the end of the first week of classes in the spring term.  The forms for the single-seat proposals are on the Honors website at: http://www.potsdam.edu/academics/specialprograms/honors/course_proposal.cfm
