Grants for Winterim
If you are a current undergraduate PELL recipient and you are not already full-time (12 or more credit hours) in the Spring 2014 semester, you may qualify for an increase in your Federal PELL grant if you are enrolled in Winterim. You will not be eligible for an increase in your PELL award if you are already receiving your annual maximum award or if you have received your maximum PELL Lifetime Eligibility (12 semesters)
If you are a current undergraduate or graduate TEACH Grant recipient and you are not already full-time (12 or more credit hours) in the Spring 2014 semester, you may qualify for an increase in your Federal TEACH Grant if you are enrolled in Winterim.
Eligibility for both the Federal PELL Grant and the Federal TEACH Grant will be determined automatically and anyone eligible for an increase will be notified. (Some students who received the Federal PELL Grant or Federal TEACH Grant in the Summer 2013 term as part of their 2013-2014 funding may not be eligible for their full grant in the Spring 2014 semester regardless of their enrollment in either the Winterim or Spring terms).
TAP is not awarded in Winterim and Spring 2014 TAP awards are not increased based on Winterim enrollment.
