Alumni Directory Project
SUNY Potsdam is working directly with Harris Connect to publish an alumni directory, which will debut in the Fall of 2010.  A series of mailings, e-mails and phone calls will be taking place during the coming months.  We appreciate your participation in this endeavor with Harris Connect to create the most comprehensive directory possible.

SUNY Potsdam's Career Planning Office offers a variety of free services to employers seeking to recruit candidates for full-time, summer, part-time and internship positions.  Learn more.

Reunion 2010
Mark your calendars: Reunion 2010 is July 8 -11th!  Here's your opportunity to enjoy the beautiful North Country summer and catch up with old friends!  Townhouses are available for a full week this year.  Visit Reunion 2010; updates are made regularly!

Alumni Association Awards
Nominate someone for one of the Alumni Association Awards presented during Reunion Weekend in July.  The deadline is February 2.  Click here for award descriptions and the nomination form.

Incoming or current students can apply for an Alumni Association Scholarship in the amount of $1000.  Students must be the child or grandchild of a Potsdam alum.  The deadline for the 2010/2011 award is February 2, 2010.  Click here to download an application.

Addressing grief in classroom important lesson at SUNY Potsdam
At SUNY Potsdam preparing exceptional teachers isn't limited to lesson plans. Ada Santaferra, professor and internship coordinator in the Community Health department, as well as a member of Phi Kappa Phi, believes that having the skills to support students who are grieving is critical to being an effective teacher.  (Read more)

The Pittsburgh Penguins recently called up former SUNY Potsdam standout hockey player, Chris Lee, from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League.  (Read more)

SUNY Potsdam faculty, students and international experts join in Human Rights Day celebration
On Thursday, December 3, SUNY Potsdam will host a celebration of International Human Rights Day. Ever since the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted in December of 1948, people around the world have used Human Rights Day to celebrate and inform about the powerful idea of human rights.  (Read more)

The community is invited to experience a free encore performance of Giacomo Puccini's last opera "Turandot" on Sunday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. at the Potsdam Roxy Theater.  (Read more)
