Alumni Project underway!
SUNY Potsdam is working directly with Harris Connect to publish an Alumni Directory which will debut in the Fall of 2010.  A series of mailings, e-mails and phone calls will be taking place during the coming months.  We appreciate your participation in this endeavor with Harris Connect to create the most comprehensive directory possible!

Mark your calendars!  Reunion 2010 is July 8 -11th!  Here's your opportunity to enjoy the beautiful north country summer and catch up with old friends!  Townhouses are available for a full week this year.  Visit Reunion 2010 , updates are made regularly!

Incoming or current students can apply for an Alumni Association Scholarship in the amount of $1000.  Students must be the child or grandchild of a Potsdam alum.  The deadline for the 2010/2011 award has been extended to March 1, 2010.  Download an application.

Announcement of Joe Sarnoff's Passing
It is with great difficulty that I report to you the passing of another member of our campus community. We learned this morning that Joe Sarnoff, Director of Retention Programs, and long-standing member of the College staff, passed away at his home.  (Read more)

SUNY Potsdam spring enrollment sees dramatic increase
SUNY Potsdam's enrollment numbers totaled over 4,000 the week classes began January 25, the highest in five spring semesters.  (Read more)

"The Met: Live in HD" series features Placido Domingo in "Simon Boccanegra"
The Metropolitan Opera's "The Met: Live in HD" series will continue at the Potsdam Roxy Theater with the presentation of "Simon Boccanegra," featuring Met career, tenor Plácido Domingo making history singing the title role in Verdi's gripping political thriller, written for a baritone. The live broadcast will take place Saturday, Feb. 6 at 1 p.m., with an encore showing on Sunday, Mar. 21, at 1 p.m.  (Read more)

Sears teams up with SUNY Potsdam for 7th annual "Bear Pride Night"
Some lucky fan will be taking home a brand new 42" flat screen television from Maxcy Hall on Friday, Feb. 5, as SUNY Potsdam holds its seventh annual "Bear Pride Night." Once again, through the combined efforts of the Offices of Alumni Relations, Residence Life and the Bears' Athletic Department, the college invites area alumni,  students and area sports fans and families to attend the evening tripleheader to cheer on the Bears and take part in a number of fun activities.  (Read more)
