The Metropolitan Opera's "The Met: Live in HD" series will continue at the Potsdam Roxy Theater with the presentation of "Simon Boccanegra," featuring Met career, tenor Plácido Domingo making history singing the title role in Verdi's gripping political thriller, written for a baritone. The live broadcast will take place Saturday, Feb. 6 at 1 p.m., with an encore showing on Sunday, Mar. 21, at 1 p.m. (Read more)

Some lucky fan will be taking home a brand new 42" flat screen television from Maxcy Hall on Friday, Feb. 5, as SUNY Potsdam holds its seventh annual "Bear Pride Night." Once again, through the combined efforts of the Offices of Alumni Relations, Residence Life and the Bears' Athletic Department, the college invites area alumni, students and area sports fans and families to attend the evening tripleheader to cheer on the Bears and take part in a number of fun activities.
