A Message from the Alumni Relations Office

Reunion 2011, Battle of the Bands!
Calling all Potsdam Bands - Did you and your friends have a band that played together while at Potsdam?  Are you ready to reunite for one night only?  As part of the Reunion 2011 festivities, we are looking to have a Battle of the Bands.  We are looking for all genres, ages and types.  We know that each era at the College had phenomenal talent, and we would love to see that talent on display again.  If you are interested in reuniting your band and participating in the Battle of the Bands on Friday, July 15, 2011, or have a band to recommend, please contact Amy Kellogg at ajkellogg@aol.com, by February 1, 2011.  Logistics and details will be worked out as we determine the level and interest of those willing to participate.

Attention Crane Emeriti and Alumni!
The American String Teachers Association (ASTA) student chapter from Crane is looking for a few of your favorite recipes to make a Crane Faculty and Alumni cookbook next Fall. This cookbook will be used as a fundraiser for ASTA to help support efforts to send members to a conference in Kansas City next spring.  Feel free to donate up to 2 recipes. You can e-mail the recipes to ASTA's president, Andrew Fund, fundaj192@potsdam.edu.    The recipes should be geared towards college students' price range and cooking capabilities. Please be sure to include your name, the name of the dish, a complete list of ingredients with measurements, step-by-step instructions, and the approximate number of servings. We will have details on how to purchase the cookbook at a later date.   Recipe submission deadline is December 31, 2010.
