Learn More Current Students and Alumni Soloists Perform The Verdi Requiem in Potsdam AND New York City As part of the Lougheed-Kofoed Festival of the Arts and in celebration of Crane’s 125th Anniversary, The Crane Chorus and Crane Symphony Orchestra will perform Verdi’s monumental Messa da Requiem under the baton of Ann Howard Jones, the 2012 Dorothy Albrecht Gregory Visiting Conductor. The guest soloists are Kelly Kaduce and Charles Temkey, and Crane School of Music alumni Margaret Lattimore ’91 and Dimitri Pittas ’99. The Requiem will be performed at SUNY Potsdam’s Helen M. Alumni Participation in Giving Places Us at Top
Through the incredible generosity of our alumni, Potsdam ranks 1st
among our SUNY peers in the total amount given by our alumni and 1st in
percentage of undergraduate alumni who give back to the College (10.4%).
We’re also 2nd in dollars raised per student and 3rd in the size of our
endowment per student. Given that we’re one of the smallest
Universities in our peer group, this is quite extraordinary. Thank you,
alumni! Help us remain at the top – answer your phone when you see a
call from SUNY Potsdam - student callers from The Buzz (aka phonathon)
want to talk to you! Or, make your gift now! Video of the Month
The Crane Chorus and Crane Symphony Orchestra students prepare to perform Verdi's Requiem at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall in New York City on May 1, 2012. You can also view this and other great SUNY Potsdam videos on our YouTube Channel.
