A Message from the Alumni Relations Office

Greetings From Your Alma Mater!

Reunion Weekend A Huge Success!
Many thanks to all our alumni and friends who returned for Reunion Weekend 2013 last month and set a record breaking attendance year! With over 775 registrations and beautiful Potsdam summer weather, what a wonderful weekend it was!  From celebrating our Alumni Award recipients, Hall of Fame Inductees, Greek Life, to past and present members of student activity groups, we were reminded of the liberal arts diversity that makes SUNY Potsdam great!  A heartfelt “thank you” to all of our volunteers who helped keep everything running smoothly all weekend.  A very special thank you to all of our class volunteers, who together raised an incredible $2,532,161 in class giving.  A special shout out to the 50-Year Club (all classes from 1962 and earlier) who raised a whopping $1,900,103.  SUNY Potsdam has incredible alumni!

Reunion 2013 Feedback?

We welcome your Reunion feedback!  What did you like?  What did you not like?  What suggestions do you have for future Reunion celebrations?  Feel free to complete our survey here or e-mail the Alumni Office.

It’s Not Too Soon to Plan For Reunion 2014!

The 2014 Reunion Weekend will be held July 10 - 13.  Mark your calendars now.  To check out Reunion dates through 2018, please see Future Reunion Dates.

Share Your Memories of Life on Campus!
In preparation for the 2016 bicentennial celebrations, students in a fall 2013 oral history course will collect stories on how clubs, organizations, or athletics shaped experiences at SUNY Potsdam. If you are interested (and live close enough for students to meet you for two interviews), contact Dr. M. J. Heisey, Department of History, at heiseymj@potsdam.edu or at (315) 267-2558.

Attention A Sharp Arrangement Alumni, Friends, Supporters and Classmates!
The A Sharp Arrangement is celebrating their 20th Anniversary this fall! An Anniversary show is planned for October 26, 2013, at 3 p.m. in Snell Theatre on the SUNY Potsdam campus. All are welcome; tickets will be available in advance and at the door. We’re still looking for alumni of the group to be part of the show and sing with us on stage, so if you are an alumnus or know of any others, please contact the group at TheASharpArrangement@gmail.com.   We look forward to seeing and hearing from you soon!

Do You Have a LinkedIn or Facebook Account?
