Nominations Are Being Accepted For The St. Lawrence Academy Medal And The Helen M. Hosmer Excellence In Music Teaching Awards
The deadline for the School of Education St. Lawrence Academy Medal and The Crane School of Music Helen M. Hosmer Excellence in Music Teaching Award is February 1st. Nomination forms are located at the following respective websites:

Alumni Association Scholarship Application Deadline Is March 1st!
Incoming or current students may apply for an Alumni Association Scholarship.  Students must be the child or grandchild of a Potsdam Alum.  The deadline for the Alumni Scholarship is March 1st.   For scholarship eligibility, go online.  Note: All supporting documentation must be received by the March 1st deadline.

SUNY Potsdam Alumni Superintendents And Principals Return To Campus To Advise On "Entering The Teaching Job Market"
SUNY Potsdam alumni who are school superintendents or principals are invited to serve as panelists in a session hosted by the Teacher Education Student Association (TESA) on campus on Saturday, March 9th at 10 a.m. The panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Mark Davey '84, School of Education Alumni Board President and Superintendent of the Gates-Chili School District near Rochester, NY. For more information on the session and to participate, please contact Nancy Griffin in the College Advancement Office at griffine@potsdam.edu.

  • Louise Tyo’s 10th Anniversary with the Summer Orientation Leader Program

The IRA Charitable Rollover Is Back For 2013!
As part of the American Tax Relief Act of 2012, the charitable IRA rollover is back allowing individuals 70 1/2 years of age or older to make a gift directly to the Potsdam College Foundation from their IRA. Visit charitable IRA rollover for more information.

Bears Down Purple Knights For DoubleTree Classic Title; Komsa Named MVP
Four different players scored for the SUNY Potsdam women's hockey team (5-8-1) as the Bears downed host Saint Michael's (1-10-1) 4-1 to capture the DoubleTree Ice Hockey Classic Title. Potsdam has now won three straight contests and is 4-1-1 in its last six.  (Read More)
