Here are a few of the weekend’s highlights:

  • Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Luncheon
    Celebrate the careers of the 2013 Hall of Fame Class on Saturday, July 13, at 11:30 a.m. in the Knowles MPR.  This year’s inductees include: Edane Barton ’05 (basketball), 1972-73 Men’s Wrestling Team, Christopher Lee ’04 (hockey), Christopher Mele ’87 (lacrosse), and the 1995-96 Men’s Hockey Team.

  • Gala Reception & Alumni Award Presentations
    Join us in congratulating the 2013 Alumni Award winners on Saturday, July 13, at 6:00 p.m. in the Barrington Student Union MPR.  Minerva Award:  Mary Helander ’83; Distinguished Service Award:  George Arnold ’92; Honorary Lifetime Membership:  Donald Lougheed; Rising Star Award:  Jarrett Felton ’04 and Sandra Bosher Thornton ’03; Helen M. Hosmer Excellence in Music Teaching Award:  Melinde Mospaw Poupore ’79; St. Lawrence Academy Medal:  Donnalyn Eaton Shuster ’78.

Annual Association Meeting Notice
The Annual Alumni Association business will be conducted on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 9:15 a.m., including the approval of the 2013-14 trustees and proposed amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws.

Will You Donate to the Reunion Weekend Silent Auction?
The SUNY Potsdam Alumni Board is seeking donated items for the Reunion Weekend Silent Auction.  Funds raised at the auction will be used to support Alumni Association initiatives.  Items donated are tax deductible (as allowable by law).  To donate an item, contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@potsdam.edu.

The State University of New York at Potsdam has received a grant from a unit of the Lockheed Martin Corporation that will help the College explore development of new curricula to enrich STEM education with arts components.  (Read More)
