Do You Know An Alum Who Deserves To Be Recognized by the Alumni Association?
If so, the deadline for nominations for the Alumni Association Awards is December 1st.  If you know of someone deserving of one of the four Alumni Association Awards, nominate them now online, where you can also view past award recipients.

Note: The deadline for the School of Education St. Lawrence Academy Medal and The Crane School of Music Helen M. Hosmer Excellence in Teaching Award is still February 1st.

Are You A 2004 Graduate?  We Need Your Help To Plan For Your Milestone 10th Reunion
We are looking for people to serve on the 2004, 10th Reunion Committee for Reunion 2014.  If you are interested in reaching out to your fellow classmates and helping make a few special plans for your 10th reunion, please e-mail Ellen Nesbitt or call (315) 267-3403.  Planning for milestone reunions begins two years in advance and will not take much of your time.

All SUNY Potsdam Athletic Home Games Can Now Be Watched Live Via Webcast
Beginning this season, you can watch all home volleyball, soccer, basketball, hockey, swimming, lacrosse and softball games live via an online webcast.  To watch games and to view individual team schedules, go online.

SUNY Potsdam Professor of Art Marc Leuthold is exhibiting sculptures in New York City in an ongoing exhibition at the George Billis Gallery.

Bears Return For Women's Lacrosse Alumnae Game
Former SUNY Potsdam women's lacrosse players returned for the team's annual alumnae game on Sept. 29. The Bears alums overcame former Clarkson Golden Knights late for an 8-7 victory at Maxcy Hall Turf Field.  Potsdam had representatives from teams dating back to 2007, including standouts from last year's graduating class.  (Read More)

SUNY Potsdam & SUNY Canton Hold First Simultaneous Civility Sit-In
SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam are joining together for a unique show of solidarity—the first-ever simultaneous Civility Sit-In. Students, faculty and staff from both campuses will sit down to demonstrate their commitment to civility, by protesting intolerance, ignorance and disrespect. Then, participants at both colleges will stand up together, in a display of common cause and purpose.  (Read More)

Figueroa Sets Bears All-Time Scoring Mark In Tie With Brockport
Sophomore forward Eduardo Figueroa scored both goals for the SUNY Potsdam men's soccer team (3-8-4, 1-3-4 SUNYAC) as the Bears fought to a 2-2 draw with first place Brockport (8-6-1, 6-1-1). Figueroa's four-point day pushes him past Chris Herdic '87 for the programs' all-time scoring record with 39 points (16g-7a-39pts). The forward also broke his tie with Herdic at the top of Potsdam's goal scored list.  (Read More)
