Travel Opportunity for Students and Alumni

SUNY Potsdam will be offering a travel opportunity to Mexico during the Winterim of 2010 that will be open to Potsdam alumni and students.
The trip will be co-led by SUNY Potsdam President John F. Schwaller, an Aztec historian and Professor of History, and Associate Dean Dr. Steven J. Marqusee, a Mayan archaeologist and Professor of Anthropology.
The tour will leave from New York City, Monday, December 28, 2009, and will visit archaeological sites such as the Aztec capital, Tenochtitlan, Tula, Teotihuacan, Cholula, Palenque, Uxmal, Chichen Itza, and Tulum, concluding on January 11, 2009, after having worked our way from central Mexico to the Yucatan Peninsula.
COMPLETE ITINERARY (PDF)The cost for the fifteen-day trip, including roundtrip airfare from New York City, two meals per day, first class hotels, internal travel while in Mexico, and admission to all archaeological and historical sites, will be approximately $3000 for alumni.
