Fitness Classes

We understand that fitness is about more than just great equipment.  We offer a variety of classes as well as personal fitness services to meet the diverse needs of our students and campus community.

Our group fitness classes are free to all students, campus community and Maxcy Hall Sport Club members.  Types of classes include but are not limited to:

  • Kickboxing

  • Zumba

  • Spinning

All classes are held in the Dance Studio on the 3rd Floor of Maxcy Hall.

Class Descriptions

Kickboxing 
Fast Paced dynamic activity to music utilizing blocks, punches and kicks providing the optimum in cardiovascular and interval workout. Aerobic exercise, free-standing heavy bags, low stance-work, wooden swords and ab-work with stretching.

Zumba® 
Zumba® is a high intensity, fast paced work out that combines easy-to-follow fitness moves and Latin rhythms.  “Join the Party™” with a Zumba® class today and experience the craze sweeping the nation! No dance experience needed.
