Kunz, Potsdam thump Alfred State 21-1

The goals came early, often, and all throughout the game as 14 different players scored and another eight players recorded an assist as the SUNY Potsdam men's lacrosse team thumped Alfred State 21-1 on Saturday afternoon in a home contest that was moved to Clarkson University's Hantz Turf Field because of icy conditions at Potsdam's Maxcy Turf Field.

Among them were midfielder Casey Boulio (Carthage, N.Y. / Carthage), attacker Matt Moran (Watertown, N.Y. / Immaculate Heart) and attacker Berkley Stone (Madison, Conn. / Daniel Hand).

Senior goaltender Ryan Duffy (Liverpool, N.Y. / Liverpool) played just the first quarter and made a save to pick up the win and improve to 2-0.
