POTSDAM, N.Y.—SUNY Potsdam senior goalkeeper Joseph Glackin has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference's men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week. Glackin's play helped the Bears to two league ties over the weekend.
On Friday, Glackin made a season-high nine saves for Potsdam in a come-from-behind 1-1 tie at Oswego, helping the Bears end a five-game skid. On Saturday, the goalie topped his performance with another 11 saves in a 1-1 draw at Cortland. Glackin finished the weekend with a 0.82 goals-against-average and a .909 save percentage in 220 minutes.
