Anthony Williams Jr. returns for his fourth year with the men’s basketball program after leading the Bears in total rebounds (154), blocks (16) and steals (38) last season. He also averaged 12.5 points per game and tallied 46 assists.
2008-09: Did not play.
2007-08: Averaged 5.3 points and 3.5 rebounds in 23 contests.
2006-07: In 22 games, averaged 7.8 points and 3.2 rebounds.
Personal: Williams is a graduate student. He aspires to play basketball overseas. His favorite musicians are Drake and Jay-Z, and his top food choice is curry chicken. Williams admits he needs to work on being consistent to improve as a player this season. He lists his mother as an influential person in his life because she “pushes me to be the man I am today.”
