Skip Schwartz returns for his third season with the men’s basketball program after leading the Bears with 39 3-point field goals made last year. He also averaged 7.3 points per game and shot 47.9 percent from the field overall.

Personal: Schwartz, whose given first name is Eric, is majoring in communications and is an aspiring radio show host. His favorite TV show is ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption,” and he enjoys eating when not playing sports. Schwartz believes he needs to stay focused to improve as a player this season, and he lists his father as an influential person in his life.
