David Carr enters his first season with the Bears.

Personal: Carr is majoring in economics with a minor in prelaw. The freshman says that working on his skating is the key to improving as a player this season. He’s a fan of Terry Fox, the Edmonton Oilers, and Jimi Hendrix. Carr lists golden gate wraps as his favorite food. His favorite TV show is “Two and a Half Men” and “Varsity Blues” is his favorite movie. If he wasn’t playing hockey, Carr would like to be a golfer.
