Colin MacClennan returns for his senior season with the Bears. MacClennan has 42 points (22 points, 20 assists) in 72 games in his three seasons for Potsdam.
2009-10: Played all 25 games, registering 20 points with 12 goals and eight assists. MacClennan tied for the team lead in power-play goals with four, led the team with two short-handed goals, and also tacked on two game-winners.
2008-09: Played in 24 games, scoring six goals, including a team-leading three while short-handed, and recording nine assists for 15 points.
2007-08: Played in 23 games, scoring four goals and assisting on seven. The freshman also netted two game-winning goals.
Personal: MacClennan is majoring in history and hopes to be a teacher after Potsdam. He’s a fan of Steve Yzerman, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the “Tragically Hip”. He lists pizza as his favorite food and NHL.com as his favorite Web site. MacClennan’s favorite TV show is “Hockey Night in Canada” and his favorite movie is “Caddyshack”. If he wasn’t playing hockey, he’d says he’d be a golfer. His favorite class at Potsdam is Production Techniques and his greatest memory with the Bears is winning a playoff game.
