Brandon Couto enters his first season with the Bears.
Personal: Couto is interested in becoming a police officer or a personal trainer after Potsdam. To improve as a player this season Couto believes he needs to work on his speed and his play in the defensive zone. He’s a fan of Anze Kopitar, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the music of David Guetta. The freshman’s favorite foods include pizza and lasagna. He lists his favorite Web site as Hockeyfights.com, his favorite TV shows are “Jersey Shore” and “Big Brother”, and his favorite movie is “Gladiator”. Couto says he’d be playing racquetball if he wasn’t a hockey player. He lists winning the OMHA championship as his greatest sports accomplishment.
