Fraser Smith is back for his fourth season with the Bears and will serve as one of their co-captains. Smith has played in 75 games during his Potsdam career, scoring 33 goals and totaling 35 assists for 68 points.

2009-10: Played in 24 games and was third on the team in scoring with 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points.

2008-09: Played 25 games, scoring 16 goals and recording nine assists for 25 points. Smith led the Bears with eight power-play goals and three game-winning goals.

2007-08: Played in 26 games and was the team?s third leading scorer with six goals and 11 assists for 17 points.

Personal: Smith is majoring in criminal justice and aspires to be a detective. The senior believes the key to improving as a player this season is to take full shifts. He is a fan of Marian Gaborik, the Tampa Bay Rays, the musician Drake, and lists pasta as his favorite food. If he wasn?t playing hockey Smith would be playing tennis. He claims winning the Norwich Tournament last season as his greatest sports accomplishment.
