Kevin MacLellan, a member of the SUNYAC All-Academic Team, returns for his senior season with the Bears, having been named an assistant captain. MacLellan has scored 10 goals and assisted on 21 others for 31 points in 53 career games with Potsdam.

2009-10: Played in all 25 games. MacLellan was one of eight Bears to reach double-digits in points with five goals and nine assists for 14 points.

2008-09: Played in 11 games, scoring one goal and assisting on five for six points.

2007-08: Played in 17 games, scoring four goals, including two on the power play, and recording seven assists for 11 points.

Personal: MacLellan is currently a graduate student working on his Master’s of Science in Teaching and hopes to become a teacher after Potsdam. He’s a fan of Mario Lemieux, but his favorite team is the Montreal Canadiens. “The Kings of Leon” are his favorite musicians and TSN.ca is his favorite Web site. His preferred meal is chicken and potatoes, and he enjoys watching the TV show “Breaking Bad” and the movie “The Boondock Saints”. If he wasn’t playing hockey, MacLellan would be a golfer. MacLellan’s favorite Potsdam memory is his undergraduate graduation.
