Mike Purcell enters his first season with the Bears.
Personal: Purcell hopes to be a physical education teacher after Potsdam. To improve as a player this season Purcell feels he needs to get stronger. He is a fan of Milan Lucic and his Boston Bruins. His favorite food is steak, his favorite movie is “Training Day” and he enjoys watching “Entourage”. The freshman’s favorite musician is Jack Johnson and his preferred Web site is YouTube. Purcell says that if he wasn’t already a hockey player, he’d like to play rugby. Purcell he’s most looking forward to helping Potsdam make a deep run in the playoffs this season.
