Fredonia Gets by Men's Soccer

POTSDAM, NY- The men’s soccer team played a tough defensive game against Fredonia but the Blue Devils scored a late second half goal to win 1-0 on a cold Friday night.

Peter Dagel scored for Fredonia in the 85th minute with assists from John Grabowski and Cory Paine.

Joseph Glackin (Latham/Shaker) had eight saves for the Bears. Thom Cavanaugh also had eight saves for the Blue Devils.

Fredonia had the lead in shots 14-10. Potsdam had eight shots on goal in the game.

Potsdam had 15 fouls compared to eight for Fredonia. There were four yellow cards issued to the Bears and two to the Blue Devils.

The Bears host Buffalo State in their home finale at 2 pm.
