Stephanie Marcotte begins her third year with SUNY Potsdam after appearing in 20 contests last season.

2008-09: Played in six games.

Personal: Marcotte is majoring in secondary math education and hopes to “inspire our youth” in her career. She lists breakfast or pizza as her foods of preference, and the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Lakers as her top sports teams. Marcotte, who names her mother as an influential person in her life, says her best Potsdam memories are times traveling with the team. Her favorite class at Potsdam is Probability & Statistics.
