Katie Komsa enters her second season with the Bears.
2009-10: Played in 24 games as a freshman, scoring four goals, including three power-play goals, and recording six assists for 10 points.
Personal: Komsa is majoring in biology and hopes to become a veterinarian. In her free time she enjoys reading and working out. As a Red Wings fan, she lists Steve Yzerman for her favorite athlete. Komsa says if she wasn’t playing hockey she’d like to play golf. Facebook is her favorite Web site, she enjoys watching “Grey’s Anatomy”, and “The Dark Knight” is her favorite movie. Biology is her favorite class at Potsdam and her greatest memory with the Bears is winning the Castleton Tournament in a shootout.
