Caitlin Manahan enters her first season with the Bears. The junior transfer from Elmira College had nine goals and 12 assists for 21 points in 58 career games with the Soaring Eagles.

2009-10: (With Elmira College) Played in all of 30 games, scoring six goals and six assists for 12 points.

2008-09: (With Elmira College) Played in 28 games, scoring three goals and assisting on another six for nine points.

Personal: Manahan is majoring in community health. To improve she believes she needs to work on her shooting skills. Her favorite athlete and team are Marc Savard and his Boston Bruins. Manahan says she’d play softball if she wasn’t playing hockey. Tom Petty is her favorite musician, “Dexter” her preferred TV show, “The Fox and the Hound” is her favorite movie, and Facebook is her favorite visited Web site. Manahan’s greatest sports accomplishment was winning three Vermont high school hockey state championships.
