Kathleen Frear returns for her third year with the Bears after leading the team with eight assists in 2009. She also posted a pair of goals, including one game-winner, in 18 games (18 starts) last season.
2008: Started 15 of 19 contests, tallying three goals and one assist.
Personal: Frear, who is also a member of the Potsdam women’s lacrosse team, is majoring in communications and English with aspirations of becoming a lawyer. A fan of music by ‘N Sync, Frear can be found in the library when not playing sports. She names her mother an influential person in her life because she is “amazing.” Her favorite class at Potsdam is Bioethics, while her top food choice is mashed potatoes.
