FREDONIA, NY- Fredonia jumped out to an early lead as they defeated the women’s soccer team 4-0 on Friday night. The Bears record is now 6-7-1 (0-7-1 in the SUNYAC).
The Bears had only three shots in the game and one shot on goal.
Sarah Casey started the game and had seven saves. Nicole Volpi came in the second half and had three saves. Meaghan Meszaros had one save for Fredonia.
Potsdam had five fouls in the game compared to three from Fredonia.
The Bears continue on the road with a game against Buffalo State tomorrow at 3:30 pm.
