Recommended Coursework outside the Major: Consult with a departmental advisor.
Special Notes: Students graduating with a biochemistry major must complete 30 semester hours in the major with at least a 2.0 in each course.
This B.S. degree meets the requirements of the ASBMB (American Society of Biobhemistry and Molecular Biology) for majors in biochemistry.
Since both calculus and physics are prerequisites for CHEM-451 Physical Chemistry 1, students are urged to start the cognate sequences as soon as possible.
