Summer Day Camps at SUNY Potsdam!

The Center for Lifelong Education and Recreation is excited to offer ten summer day camps for local children in 2009.  With programs throughout the summer covering a wide range of subjects, you're sure to find at least one camp your children will love.

Some camps will fill up quickly, so register today!  See the information to the right for our online registration form, a paper registration form you can mail or fax to us, and the number to call to register over the phone with a MasterCard or Visa.

Participants in all day camps are asked to complete our Day Camp Health Form (PDF) and return it to our office or bring it to the first camp session.

Gym Rats Basketball Clinic

A fun introduction to the game of basketball for girls and boys age 4-9.

Robotics Day Camp

Students entering grades 4-8 will work in small teams to brainstorm a solution to a sports-inspired challenge using Lego®-based robots.

Softball Day Camp

This camp will provide a fun environment for girls entering grades 7-11 to improve their softball skills and meet other players.

Potsdam Bears Diving Day Camp

Campers age 8 to 18 learn to execute a forward or backward takeoff from a diving board while demonstrating superior control and safety.

The Potsdam Dance Project is a group of dancers age 10 and up who work together to choreograph and perform new works.
