CLEAR Staff undergo background checks, and SUNY Potsdam student staff must also consent to screening of both their judicial and academic records.

Basketball Camp Counselors are responsible for the supervision of campers off court. Duties include bringing campers to and from meals, supervising the residence halls, facilitating evening activities, and more.
Lifeguards shall actively supervise participants in the camp's aquatic activities as detailed in the camp's safety plan. While on duty at the waterfront, qualified lifeguards shall not be engaged in duties or activities which distract them from the direct supervision of the waterfront.
