TABATA - Efficient, Effective, Fast & Intense

Instructor: Andrea Malik | Course #1523

Save time and get fit with TABATA by burning more calories and fat in less time than any other form of traditional exercise. Intense interval training raises the body’s metabolic rate long after the exercise session is over, resulting in post workout fat loss. Body weight exercises such as pushups, abdominal exercises, squats, and lunges will be incorporated.  TABATA is a very intense form of interval training: short high-energy bursts of exercise – 20 seconds followed by a short 10 second rest. This is not a class for the weak hearted (literally!). To get results you need to work hard but each person will start where they can and work within their own fitness ability. Classes consist of a 5-10 minute warm-up with a blend of dynamic joint mobility exercises, followed by the TABATA workout, ending with a brief cool down. (If you would like an extended stretching and relaxation session after this extreme workout, then take TABATA Espresso Blend, recommended to prevent 'day after pain' and to promote general well being.)
