COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT 

New York State Independent Living Services Satisfaction Survey

The results from this survey are used to improve programs and services for people with disabilities as required by the Federal Rehabilitation Services  Administration.

Northern New York Travel and Tourism Research Center 

PIAR conducted a survey of managers of tourism businesses to assess the current tourism business climate in Northern New York.

EDUCATION

St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES 21st Century Project 

PIAR designed and implemented an evaluation strategy for this after-school enrichment program targeting middle school students in nine participating school districts in St. Lawrence County.

Career & Technical Education 

Senior high school students, and students one and five years out of high school are surveyed to assess their level of academic and career preparation, as well as their post-secondary plans and accomplishments.  Results are used for program improvement and Federal CTEDS reporting.

HEALTH

North Country Health Assessment 

PIAR conducted the first regional health needs assessment done in the North Country.  A telephone survey which gathered health information from community members was combined with information from the New York State Department of Health and other sources. This resulted in a comprehensive report of the general health of the region’s residents, and their access to healthcare.
