SOGo is SUNY Potsdam's Next Generation Calendar

CTS is pleased to announce that the campus will begin using SOGo as our official calendar utility effective Monday, January 21, 2013, replacing Meeting Maker.  SOGo is to be used for all personal scheduling that was previously done with Meeting Maker.

SOGo is live and available to use right now. Visit http://calendar.potsdam.edu and login with your CCA.

SOGo Offers the following features

  • Anyone with a valid Campus Computer Account has a SOGo calendar.
  • Synchronization with Android and iOS devices.
  • Share your calendar with other SOGo users.
  • Ability to send and receive meeting proposals to other external clients such as Google Calendar users.
  • Includes a new web-based E-mail and Address Book.

Troubleshooting

SOGo is currently in testing and we are continuing to refine it as questions and comments from early adopters come in. We've included some topics in the right-hand menu to get you started.

Please keep in mind that CTS cannot migrate your Meeting Maker data for you--it's not possible to do so automatically.  This means that all users of Meeting Maker will need to re-enter their meeting data into SOGo manually.  To facilitate this, Meeting Maker will continue to be available until the end of the Spring semester.  Training sessions are being planned and additional information will be forthcoming.
