College Libraries Faculty Open House & Luncheon

Just after the President's all-campus meeting and reception, the College Libraries is hosting an open house and luncheon to tell faculty more about library resources and how we might assist faculty with teaching, research, and services. We have adjusted the times to accommodate the morning's events, so please see the schedule below, and join us if you can, for whatever portion interests you.

All faculty and staff are welcome!
11-11:30 Workshop: Demo of what Information Literacy librarians can do for you and your students - Elizabeth Andrews

11:30-12 Workshop: AskMax: What is it, and what information does it help you and your students find? - Abby Smith

12-12:30 Workshop: How to enrich an assignment for Information Literacy Skills - Carol Franck

12:30-1 Workshop: Using streaming media and other library-provided information resources in your courses - Nancy Alzo

1-2: Luncheon with informal discussion of information literacy issues at SUNY Potsdam, facilitated by Carol Franck

2-3: Tours of the teaching spaces and technology resources in Crumb Library (with Keith Compeau), Crane Library (with Ed Komara), and the Instructional Technology Center (with Paula Willard).
